ABOUT

I’m Joshua Vasquez, a communications and media professional based in Houston with a passion for telling stories, building connections and creating experiences that resonate.

My work has taken me across marketing, public relations, journalism, live events and broadcast operations, from supporting marketing initiatives at The Galleria and reporting stories across the University of Houston community to working alongside international broadcasters during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in Houston.

What ties those experiences together is communication. Whether I’m developing messaging, coordinating media, producing content or helping execute an event, I’m drawn to the work that happens where people, brands and stories meet.

I earned my B.A. in Journalism from the University of Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude with minors in Business Administration and French. My time at UH also took me abroad to Angers, France, where I studied French language, culture and communication at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest.

Beyond my professional work, I’m interested in the worlds of sports, fashion, arts and culture, and particularly in how communications can shape the way people experience them.

I’m fluent in English and Spanish and speak conversational French. Across everything I do, I bring curiosity, adaptability and an international perspective to telling stories with clarity, creativity and purpose.
